		<description>Once on a trip down the Brazos I found hundreds of alligator gar (or Longnose gar...I couldn&#039;t tell which) beaching themselves in the shallows of the river. I could paddle my boat right up next to them and even reach out and touch them with my paddle. They wouldn&#039;t move an inch. I always thought they where breading or something...maybe they just needed air?</description>
