8/28/13 – A dead shark hooked on a long line is brought up to the Texas Parks & Wildlife patrol boat Capt. Williams. Texas Parks & Wildlife game wardens patrol the Gulf of Mexico near South Padre Island, Texas near the Mexican border for illegal long lines set in U.S. waters by Mexican fishermen. The principal target fish are sharks whose fins are cut off and sold.
