You've hooked an enormous largemouth bass that you 
hope qualifies as a Budweiser Sharelunker.
 
A sharelunker is a largemouth bass that weighs 13 pounds or 
more, and legally caught from private waters and public waters 
within the state of Texas. :08
 
David Campbell, who coordinates the program, says what 
you do after catching the fish is critical.

Handle it as little as possible, and take it to a local marina. And 
they have treated water that they can put these fish in until we 
get there. :07

The bass must weigh an minimum of 13 pounds for 
inclusion in the program - absolutely no exceptions.

I turned down a 12.98 out of Allen Henry last year. And that was 
the trip that I had ESPN in the truck with me, and they were 
interviewing me driving down the road; I had just made the 
comment, it had to be 13 pounds. My cell phone rang, I took it 
out, and they had a 12.98 at Allen Henry. And I turned it down 
there in front of the camera, but I realize, too, sometimes it 
depends on how much water you shake off of it before you put 
it on the scales. But if it weighs 13 pounds on that set of 
certified scales, that's great with me. :28
