There's no better way to spend time than to spend time with 
your family. And the very best way to do that is to get out on 
the water and go boating and fishing together. :07

Bruce Matthews is president of the Recreational Boating 
and Fishing Foundation. 

The Recreational Boating and Fishing foundation is a non profit 
organization that exists for the purpose of growing 
participation in boating and fishing and stewardship of the 
resources that support it. :11

Mathews says the money Texans spend on fishing 
licenses benefits the environment which ... in turn ... 
benefits everyone.

Those fishing license dollars contribute to the management of 
the resource by finding research studies that maintain the 
health of the fishery that's out there. And fund things like 
improvement and restoration projects, biological research, and 
other activity that basically supports the fisheries resource. So 
it's a very important tie in with that - the more anglers there are 
buying licenses then the more funds are available to protect and 
conserve the resource. :24
