On this week's Texas Parks and Wildlife Television show, writer/producer Alan Fisher introduces us to "frog people" ... folks who are checking on the health of Texas frogs and toads... She participates in Texas Amphibian Watch - a citizen science program that recruits participants from the community to collect information about frogs and toads. This is a way for ordinary folks to participate in actually some useful science to help us figure out maybe what's going on with amphibians. :09 Fishers says if you're like him, after watching this program, you'll have a new appreciation of frogs. I didn't know about frogs - how many unique species there are. And they all have unique calls.
