JANE SEYMOUR, 2: A Hollywood star shares her love of angling ... on Passport to Texas ... ____________________________________________________________ PTT from TPWD and the Sport Fish Restoration Program International TV and movie star, Jane Seymour never imagined she would become an avid angler. I never thought I'd ever be holding a fishing pole. But we used to go on these summer holidays, and somehow we always ended up on the end of a key or pier or somewhere, and we'd catch these little minnows and things. And I became obsessed with catching fish. Then later in life when I was introduced to fly-fishing, I got hooked - literally. :17 Since then, Seymour taken fishing vacations with her family all over the world. She's quick to point out that you don't need a lot of money, or an exotic locale, to have an incredible angling experience with your family. When I was little, you know, we didn't have a penny to our name. And, you know, I just remember just a very simple fishing pole with a wonderful little bright bobbin thing bobbing on the top of the water. And all of a sudden -- enormous excitement. You know, when it didn't matter how large or small the fish was, that thing disappeared underneath ... The thrill as a child of just pulling out this wiggling fish was just amazing. :21 Fish free in state parks with angling opportunities during the Family Fishing Celebration.
