Production Manager Don Cash ... First week of February is a story on the Bass Brigade and the brigade's program here in Texas. The bass - in this particular one - was an excuse to learn communication skills and leadership skills. And it's a way for the photographers to work with the private landowners to promote conservation for wildlife. :13 The third week in February, Abe Moore, is working on a story called Archaeology for the Ages. There's an archaeology project ongoing at Palo Duro Canyon SP up in the Panhandle. The park was the site of what was the last major battle before the Southern Plains Indians were - shall we say - forced into reservations. :18 We really need to give our Comanche children a sense of the history ... a sense of the power ... so it goes on into the future. If we don't do that today, the people who died here, died for nothing. :09 Hopefully, through the archaeology that they're doing there, they'll be able to come to a truer interpretation of what happened.
