Hunting has a long tradition in Texas. But it's not 
always easy to find an affordable place to hunt 
these days. 
That's where government-run public hunting lands 
can help. Texas Parks and Wildlife has more 
than a million acres across the state for hunting, 
fishing, camping and nature study.
These are your lands, and all you need to use 
them is an affordable annual public hunting 
permit.
