Now is a great time to plant trees, woody shrubs and perennial 
plants. The cool weather gives them a chance to establish a 
healthy root system before summer's heat. And when you plant 
drought tolerant native plants, you and wildlife both benefit. 
Wildscapes provide food and shelter for wildlife, and because 
plants are native, they require less maintenance and water.
