WINTER TROUT STOCKING/NEIGHBORHOOD FISHIN’


Take the family fishing for rainbow trout this winter at a 
neighborhood fishin’ location! Through the first week of 
March, Texas Parks & Wildlife will stock close to 300-thousand 
rainbow trout in 150 community and state park lakes and 
ponds.  Proceeds from the freshwater fishing stamp—which 
adults must purchase in addition to a fishing license—fund the 
trout stockings. Kids under 17 fish free.  And it’s always free to 
fish at Texas state parks with fishing opportunities.
