BOATING SAFETY: LIFE JACKETS

Texas Parks and Wildlife reminds boaters that life jackets 
save lives!

?	Most boating fatalities could be eliminated if everyone 
on board wore a life jacket. 

?	If you’re knocked unconscious or injured, a life jacket 
will help keep you afloat until help arrives.

?	In order for a life jacket to protect you, it must be 
properly secured -- not simply hanging loose around 
your body.
