June 2nd kicks off National Fishing and Boating Week. And 
it’s also Free Fishing Day in Texas.

Of course, every day is Free Fishing Day at Texas state 
parks that have fishing opportunities. 

If you’re not currently an angler, but want to give it a try, 
some parks have tackle loaner programs, too. Just bring 
your own bait. 

Plus, on June 1st all Neighborhood Fishin’ Lakes will be 
stocked with catfish, ensuring you’ll reel in something.
