WHOOPER WATCH


One of the rarest birds in North America is the Whooping Crane. It 
makes its home at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge along the 
shallow bays of the Texas Gulf.

This time of year whoopers fly over Texas to their winter home on 
the coast. You can help researchers gain a better understanding 
of their migratory path when you participate in Texas Nature 
Trackers’ Whooper Watch.
